Gift Bags!

Ever since I was little I LOVED wrapping presents.

Though my adoration for some sparkly wrapping paper, clear tape, sharp scissors, and of course curling ribbon still overwhelms me, sometimes a gift bag will have to suffice because I am running just a little late.

But that doesn't mean I can't dress it up right?

Heeheee!

Thanks for stoppping by!

FOOD

I most definately pigged-out today.
Gosh, I ate so much!

But, I did go on a walk with Soraya tonight so that made up for wee bit (:

And so, all this food talk reminds me of this...

I think this is so true! I love this quote about food (:

pho! yumo!

This was an envelope for an additional gift card (so he could eat more yummy food)!

I made this as a gift for my soccer coach this season! He loves to cook so I asked the girls on the team to give me some of their favorite recipes to incorporate! I ended up only receiving about 10-12 recipes but the book was still nice and full (:

I made the photos 4x6 so assembly of the recipe book would be easy. Also, the recipes' were printed on 3x5 index cards for more "easy-ness". Teresa Collin's recipe paper line worked well with this book too (:

Ah, now I think I am hungry again! lol.

Goodnight!

I'M BACK!

So much has happened in the past month! Life was pretty crazy but the lazy days of summer are starting to settle in so normality is coming back...slowly. Where do I begin?

Well. There's definitely no more of this for the next three months!

I put all my books away and they are actively collecting DUST. Lots of dust! (:

Also, this happened!

YAY! It was a bittersweet day to say the least. Oh, an I officially have a HATRED for graduation caps (whatever they are called). I LOATHE whoever invented those things. I mean, really? One size fits all? My butt! I pinned mine to my head incredibly tights and my hand was permanently attached to my head so my cap would not BLOW AWAY while I walked up the stage! UGH. That was more stressful than walking down a steep ramp in four inch heels. I'm serious!

So with graduation comes graduation presents! I had to plan out what to make my friends and am actually in the process of finishing off some gifts.

This altered keepsakes box is nearly finished and I LOVE how it turned out (:

In some fun news! I got a call from Soraya's mom and she wanted to plan ANOTHER surprise party for Soraya! No joke, this is probably the FIFTH surprise party we have thrown for her! Ah, they are just so much fun and she is just too gullible! Her mom needed to get her out of the house an hour before friends arrived so she sent her daughter to look for whipped cream....whipped cream with CHERRIES in it! Yea. I know.
It doesn't exist!
Her mom knew that.
I knew that.
Her friends knew that.
Everybody knows that.
Except Soraya!
So she went on a Ralphs run to look for something that didn't exist while everybody came and hid! (:

And being me, I always come bearing dessert!

i learned to make these from bakerella (:

and my bestie and I! iloveyou<3 When I was at their new house I also saw these hanging on Soraya and her mom's bedroom doors!

COOL HUH? I made these for them over spring break and was pleasantly excited when I saw that they hung them up!

Alright. This was a pretty long post so I shall end it for tonight!

SCRAPPY STUFF!

The week before Mother's Day, my friend asked me to help her make a gift for her mom. We came up with this layout and I made a small card to go with. I have a mad obsession for the Martha Stewart butterfly punch lately and LOVE using the beautiful critters on my pages and projects. The second layout is of me! It was project for Spanish a while back. I was really pleased with how the colors turned out on this layout!

Thanks for looking!

UPDATE!

YESSSSSS!! i knowwww! cool huh? This has happened in the past two weeks or so. May 13th, 2009 to be exact. lol. I am super excited and stoked. I have wanted to go University of Calirfornia, Irvine since the beginning of high school and now its truely happening. YIPEEE! It was a long, complicated, and EMOTIONAL process to say the least but absolutely worth it. I turned in my student intent to register on Sunday so just gotta graduate high school now (less than MONTH!) and keep up with important orientation dates (: SUPPERRRR excited!

In other news...
Saturday was my SENIOR PROM! It was soooooooo much fun! I love dressing up and getting all beautified so any excuse to do that is just cool in itself. lol. Hanging out with two of my best friends, Lexi and Nisa, was great too! Don't they look gorgeous?? Purple was definately the theme of the night...so much for being different. lol. None of us wore long dress for prom like the traditional style. We had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen which was scrumptous and then Starbucks afterwards for a little pick-me-up before the dance (:
I'm always hesitant about dances becasue I am not the dancing type but this time I just had fun and let loose (: My heels (as shown in the previous post) hurt like NO OTHER but were super cute! That's all that matters right? hehe. Hmm, the night ended with a slow dance with a boy and some In & Out fries afterwards. Fun fun fun! Here are three of my favorite pictures!

And then....
Yesterday was our senior trip to Disneyland! The day was really fun. After we left the park we walked down Downtown Disney and went into the store The World of Disney. Immediately we saw these hats...bittersweet don't you think? I honestly can't believe I am graduating sooooo soon! AHHH!

Well, that's all the updates for now. I will share some scrappy stuff soon!
