uber cool project!

so soraya told me on friday she was moving.
moving!
no worries though...she's moving two minutes away from where she lives now. lol. i wanted to make her and her mom a house warming gift and could not think of one for the life of me. then after some blog cruising i came across some really cool banners! i saw them before but never wanted to make one until now.
i LOVVVEEEE how this turned out!! i used mostly stuff from my stash. K&Compnay paper and chipboard, Michaels ribbon, and some jump rings.

then&now

my goodness...I just got really sleepy. I want to stay up and scrapbook some more though!

hmm. well thursday i came home around 5pm and went straight to my bed for a nap. woke up around 8pm but fell asleep again until 10:30pm!!
I was missing ERRRRR!! horror horror. I ran downstairs and watched the rest of it. It was sooo good (:
After...at around 11:30pm I started my homework. Luckily I didn't have much so I wasn't too stressed. I had to write a poem about an old picture. I ended up making a layout of it to turn in. Nonetheless, I stayed up until 4am that day. I KNOW! I just wasn't tired....I wonder why?? lol.

School was school. After school I called my best friends and left her a message to call me because I really wanted to hang out. I didn't expect her to call me back...because she never calls me back lol...but SHE DID!! For once.
AND...
We actually went out. We were gonna see a movie but I talked her out of it. lol. All I really wanted to do was chill and chat and do some shopping! I actually got a really great deal at Wet Seal...buy one sale item and get the second one for ONE CENT! cool huh? So I got two really cute tank tops for $4.30!! YAY!
chipotle for dinner was scrumptious. (:
soraya and i chatted about friends, school, and family. I really had a good time!
I wasn't tired when we were hanging out even though I didn't go to bed until four in the morning but about an hour after getting home I crashed on the couch and eventually crawled to my room. I was so tired I didn't change into pjs or take of my makeup. yup. sooo tired. lol.

that was my end of the week last week!

no more testing!!

so yesterday i had a spanish 4 test, physics test, and then political economy test. then today i had an ap biology test!

my brain is fried! spanish was easy peezy but i confused my conjugation endings really badly so it was not good at all.
physics physics physics. well. yea. its just well. hmm...crazy hard is an understatement!
political economy...which i didn't study for at all...i didn't even open my text book..lol...was harder than i thought it would be. there was a lot of stuff my teacher didn't go over and he asked questions on. not cool!
ap bio. the beginning of the test was hard. we had to know what all the connective tissues LOOKED like, not just what they are and what they do! towards the end it got super easy and the essay wasn't that bad. just a lot of memorizing over all.

I was looking through old photos tonight to find a picture I can write a poem about and I found this really cute pictures of my brothers and I on vaction in Hawaii. It was from like maybe 8 years ago. Old photos make me so happy (: Sharing tomorrow!

so i was suppose to share my cards yesterday but got side tracked by BROTHERS&SISTER! anyone watch that show? yesterday was the two hour movie event and it was amazing! kinda scary at the end though because one of the characters Tommy got in trouble for embezzlement! dun dun dunnnh. and then Robert is still going to run for govenor even though he just had a heart attack AND he and his wife just adopted a baby boy! ahhh...so excited to see what happens.

alright. on with the cards. here they are!












The first set was made using a weaving technique i learned in 8th grade art class. I wanted the cards to be simple yet intricate!
The second set is more fun and vibrant! I am addicted to this pink lace I have. My mom bought it a LONGGG time ago from an old fabric store I think. It cost 50 cents for a WHOLE card! amazing deal right? I love the sun in the first card and popsicle in the second just screams summer to me! doesn't it for you?

Okay, well, physics awaits me! I have a Spanish 4 test first period, then open, then a Physics test third period, and then a Political Economy test fourth period. and its 1am. I feel an all nighter....
