so much to do. so little time.

i don't know why i am up.
i have a headache of epic proportions..really i do. since last night.
every time i look up (without moving my head) or use my peripheral vision my head just gets a shot of pain and then goes back to the throbbing sensation thingy.
so annoying!
everyone in school is sick. like EVERYONE! last week probably half the school was sick so this week all those students who were sick infected all the students who weren't sick so this week all the student who weren't sick are and all the students who were sicks aren't. follow that? lol.

anyways. on to happier, exciting, and thrilling news!isn't it just a beauty? i've had the LG chocolate for TWO years and was getting pretty tired of it. my dad's cellphone contract ends this month so my he ordered two new phones after renewing the contract (: gosh i'm spoiled. i love the silver slickness of the phone! actually, when it comes to techy devices i LOVE everything silver! no kidding. stainless steal appliances all the way! silver phones and ipods too! just so slick...i heart <3 .

i turned in my Pretty Committee assignment for March TODAY! i know...i'm like a week and some days EARLY! here are some sneak peeks...
so there are a lot design team calls and challenges on blogs i want to participate in but don't know if i will have the time. i always say i will start working on scrappy stuff...tomorrow...but then homework takes me sooo long so i never have time to scrap! ahh. i shall fine the time eventually! (:

i'm addicted. obsessed. devoted. hookedddd...and everything inbetween. i have been watching all the previous season's episodes and can't stop. i think i saw like 5 or 6 episodes today. ahh, that's like five to six hours of tv alone. its just sooo goooddd!!

TIME FLIES!

so when i started this blog i told myself i would be good blogger...meaning consistent and dedicated. lol. and yet i haven't posted in nearly a week! i do think about posting projects a lot...but iono...i always get side tracked i guess.

nothing new really going on. pressure of college acceptance letters coming next month is starting to hit me lately. i'm kinda FREAKIN' OUT! but then again, who isn't right? school is pretty, well monotonous and ehh. i don't see many of my friends much which isn't fun.

anyways, here are a few scrapbooking layouts/projects from the past few weeks.



This is design work for The Pretty Committee for last month! I think I am on the Kraft Cardstock train! I LOVE IT! Sadly, however, this was my one and only piece. I have some other cardstock that is similar but its just not the same as THIS one by The Paper Company! I am thinking about investing in some more (:









I made this layout for my cousin's birthday in January. I had no idea where I was going with the layout for the longest time so it took me a while to finish. I think A LOT when I scrapbook. My thinking makes up for a lack of layout sketches probably.



Me [RIGHT NOW]!! This has got to be my one of my favorite layouts of all time. Like the Special Bond LO, this took quite a while to design. I knew I wanted to use the photo strip (which i LOVE) and the circular cardstock but I didn't know how include the patterened papers. Finally I figured it out and adore it! The October Afternoon papers really give the layout warmy-elegance...if you know what I mean.

Also, just wanted to share...

can't believe it. i remember when i was in middle school and i would have conversations with him saying...
"omg, when i am a senior you'll be in 8th grade! and when i am in college you'll be in high school!"
now its actually HAPPENING! time flys! really...it does.

HI TWEETY!

Just wanted to share the other card I created for the Card Positioning System Contest.



Its a tri- fold card and I used all American Crafts paper (Teen Collection), some lace, Prima flowers, Basic Grey brads, thread, and felt to make the birdies. Gosh, I LOVE the birdies and wish I had the patience to make a whole bunch of them. I just hate cutting felt and trying to glue the itty bitty pieces together. It's so much work but then again just so darn cute! ah. lol.

Today was also my last HIGH SCHOOL soccer game EVER! The season is over! Its is such a bittersweet moment and I don't really know how to feel. I love playing soccer but there are times when I am just over it. Anyways, we did beat University High School (my best friend's school) 3-2 so it was all good. And Lexi scored and I assisted her shot! YAY! good times (:

Oh, and to my horror....after the game I took off my cleats and my shins were WHITE! I had been using this lotion with a tanner in it for the past week and supposedly last night's application didn't absorb all the way so I had half white half tan legs from all sweat. So depressing! I got home and scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed my legs so they are better now and look evenly WHITE. oh well. It was an interesting experience to say the least. lol.

Alright. Well, tengo un exam para espanol cuatro manana entoces neccestio estudiar y dormir mucho.

So, actually Brian's birthday was yesterday but I never got a change to blog it. lol.
I made him a guitar hero cake that's pretty cool...if i don't say so myself. haha.

MY FIRST BLOGGG!!

Hello! My name is Amy and I have been a scrapbooker/cardmaker for about four years now. I started back in 9th grade and haven't stopped since. Recently I decided to explore open calls, design team calls, and publishing opportunities so getting a blog seemed necessary. Actually it seemed necessary since like ohhh...last February?...but procrastinator me only got around to it now! lol.

I stayed up pretty late last night and created my banner that you see at the top! I love it too (: I really need to take better photos of it thought. It was pretty gloomy out today so maybe better luck tomorrow.











I visited a scrapbooking store in Rancho Santa Margarita called Timeless Treasures yesterday! The store was HUGE (for a local scrapbooking store). It wasn't that local for me...about a twenty-five to thirty minute drive but I am happy I went. I picked up some October Afternoon paper from their Hometown and Detour lines. Oh geezz...isn't the Fruit Stand patterned paper just soo cute?? All the little apples (: I also used some K & Company Sola paper, Prima flowers, Daisy D's chipboard, ribbon and thread!

Well, that's about all for my first blog post! Ah, how exciting!
